PROJECT MANAGEMENT
I will lead your book through every aspect of the editorial production process with a steady, knowledgable hand, taking your project from manuscript to bound, printed book.
I am meticulous about maintaining schedules and budgets and keeping an open line of communication throughout the project. I am skilled at collaborating with authors, editors, other freelance professionals, and compositors to bring your book to fruition.
COPYEDITING AND PROOFREADING
My years as a production editor give me an expert eye for catching errors and inconsistencies.
I copyedit manuscripts for clarity, accuracy, consistency, and overall style and coherence.
I proofread page proofs for correctness in content and formatting and for overall consistency.
INTERIOR BOOK DESIGN
I create interior page layouts for everything from all-text chapter books to four-color textbooks with complex features and art programs.
Using your manuscript, I will develop sample layouts and a color palette for your book project. When you are happy with your design, I will provide you with a packaged book design template ready for typesetting.
